The comfrey near our flat in the summer is always absolutely humming with bees!

Beautiful photos and information. Our cuckoo flowers in the west of Ireland are nowhere near flowering yet, but the celandine and primroses are out.

Thanks Charlie! Emma from Miscellaneous Adventures just pointed out to me I'd actually got that fact wrong... it's GREATER celandine that's named for the swallow's arrival, not LESSER celandine (confusingly unrelated plants!). That'll trust me to triple check my facts eh? Always learning!
