I also can add a fun fact (I did a bit of research for my own newsletter a couple of weeks ago) - foxes the first creatures in the world shown to use the earth’s magnetic fields to judge the direction and distance of their prey! It basically becomes a ‘rangefinder’ for them, and allows them to hunt small animals in tall grasses <3
Our ultimate fox-sighting here involved the wildlife cameras, which we often watch during the adverts or just before we go up to bed. We had sheep in our field grazing the rough grass down and, when we checked on them last thing, we watched a perfectly healthy adult fox strolling in amongst them, curling up and going very peacefully to sleep...honestly. And no sheep were harmed in the making of this film!!!
We definitely don't see as many here in Kent as we did in South London, but I've noticed far more lately. There's quite often a really scruffy one that sleeps on the roof of one of my neighbour's shed. Always a lovely sight.
I love foxes!

That's so cool Mel, thank you for sharing your foxy fact!
I've just read the most beautiful children's book by Katya Balen called Foxlight. I think you might love it.
The masks are fabulous!
Oh I just looked it up and it looks absolutely beautiful Janelle, thank you!

Foxes are fascinating animals. I like the fox mask, what a clever idea!
I was so happy with how they turned out!
